Starting my creator has been one of the most exciting parts of building Re-Glow, and this year I’ve completely applied myself to taking this journey seriously. Instead of waiting for the “perfect moment” to catch me by surprise, I’ve decided to focus on obtaining all the right tools to stay consistent, organized, creative and begin where I am. Using these five core tools, I have been able to and will continue to build my content, grow my brand, and level up my life as a creator.

1. Canva – All in One Design Studio
Canva is easily one of the most versatile and important tools that I use. This is the tool that I use to design everything that I’ve done so far whether it is thumbnails, graphics, product photos, website visuals, reel covers, and I even find some of my stock videos here.
What makes Canva so easy to grow attached to is how fast and easy it is to create polished content. I don’t need an editor or advanced skills to create a professional and clean design. It’s been a huge help for my brands aesthetic and for catching attention.

2. Sony ZV-E10 MK II – My Main Camera for Quality Content
Before I talk about the camera, I want to make it completely clear that a camera is not a necessity to begin your brand and that you can totally excel with your phone camera, though, having a camera can track some more attention which is able to bring in more opportunities.
When it comes to filming and camera quality, the Sony ZV-E10 MK II has definitely been my go-to camera. This camera provides a crisp, cinematic look without being complicated. This camera falls under beginner complexity, though, it has advanced results. It handles low light well though if low light is your main focus, there are a couple better cameras in that aspect for a similar price. The camera is light weight which makes it convenient for travel vlogs, lifestyle videos, product shots, everything really. This camera lacks a fan for battery cooling which makes it possible to overheat if used for too long straight or if you’re in a very hot environment though every other aspect of the camera passes all expectations. If you’re a new creator and want to upgrade your video quality, this camera is the best all-around starting point.
3. Davinci Resolve – The Editing Program for Quality Content
I’ve used adobe all throughout school whether for my own editing tasks or school related tasks though the repeating payments add up and I’ve found a higher satisfaction in Davinci Resolve. The reason I switched initially is because it offers pro level editing tools for free, the average person could sustain a large video editing based business for their entire life using just the free version of Davinci Resolve. On top of that, if you want to upgrade and have access to all that Davinci Resolve has to offer, you can get that for a one-time price of three hundred dollars which means no re-occurring payments that suck you dry each passing month.
The reason I’ve stayed on Davinci Resolve is the fact that it makes it so effortless
- Cut clips
- Add effects
- Color corrects
- Work with audio
- Create clean and aesthetic videos
Its powerful, but still beginner friendly tool which has brought my footage editing from “okay” to a final video that I’m proud of.

4. Bluehost – The Platform Behind My Website and Blog
Bluehost powers my blog and website, and it’s what I use to build my online homebase for my brand. Having a proper website and blog page can completely change your chances of success.
Bluehost gives me the ability to
- Run my WordPress site
- Post blogs
- Customize pages
- Optimize SEO
- Manage hosting easily
Having my own site make me feel much more official as a creator because it gives me the platform to share content that I fully own. Not just social media that can disappear.
5. ClickUp – The Tool That Keeps Me Organized and On Track
I’ve never been one to use tools that keep me in check such as calendar apps, reminder apps, or notes apps, though, when you start a venture that requires dedication and persistence, having a tool like this is a must. I use ClickUp to organize my
- Content Calendars
- Video Ideas
- Blog topics
- Brand goals
- To-do lists
- Affiliate tasks
It keeps everything in one place, so I’m not overwhelmed or forgetting what I need to post. To be honest, ClickUp has been the backbone of my productivity as a creator.
Importance
These tools are so important to my brand because they all cover their own individual aspects, making them so much easier for me as a creator to complete my tasks and advance my venture. Whether I’m planning, filming, editing, or designing, these tools help me bring my ideas to life and make my life easier in the process.
If you’re building your own path as a creator, these tools are great building blocks for you that will help you stay consistent, organized, and inspired.
